WP11, Halo 5

Hello. Yes I know that Halo 5 came out a long time ago but I just got the game like two months ago but I like to play it with my friend. Halo fans have probably already played Halo 4 and yes I have. I personally think that Halo 4 was much better than Halo 5. I think this because in halo four, you had to earn your armor by leveling up. But in Halo 5, it is totally different. In Halo five, you have to level up and earn REQ points to earn and buy packs. So this is how the packs work. After every game, you earn some REQ points even if you or your team didn’t win. So there is a store that is filled with different types of REQ packs that you can buy. All of the REQ packs but three of the packs in the store, you have to buy with real money. The three that you can get with the game currency are bronze, silver, and gold packs. Bronze and silver packs don’t really have anything good, but gold packs, they contain lots of stuff and I think that you have a very likely chance of getting an armor piece or two. I think that they ruined Halo five by making the game like all the other games that come out. They make you buy stuff to get what you want in the game. That was my weekly post. Bye.

This is one of the enemies that you have to fight in the campaign of earlier campaign games. This is the only picture of anything halo that I was allowed to use. I hope you think that it looks cool.

WP8, Dark Matter

This is not the dark matter you normally think about normally. Only the people that play Black Ops Three will know what I am talking about. Dark matter in black ops three is a camo that you can put on your gun in multiplayer and a game mode catted zombies. I think that everyone that plays block ops three wants it to put on their guns. How you get it is in almost every call of duty made by Treyarch, in multiplayer, you have to complete certain challenges for different guns. If you complete those challenges for a certain gun then you get a gold solid gold camo.  And if you complete the challenges for all of the guns of that gun type, for example, assault rifles, then you get a diamond camo for that class of gun. So what you do to get dark matter is you have to get all of the gun classes diamond. Or in other words, you have to get all the guns in the game gold. Also there are black market weapons that you have to get by opening supply drops. If you want to get dark matter for those weapons then you have to get those weapons separate from the other guns. I know some of the people that comment on this post probably play call of duty black ops three so if you already have dark matter then I think you should comment and tell me how you did it and how hard was it. I so far have diamond assault rifles and I didn’t cheat to get it. Also i am on the way to getting shotguns diamond. Thank you for reading this post.

WP9, The Amazing Thomas Edison

Thomas Edison was the inventor of the light bulb. He was born on February 11, 1847. He lived to be 84 years old. He died on October 18, 1931. He was an American inventor and a businessman who has been described as America’s greatest inventor. He invented the phonograph, the the motion picture camera, and the long lasting light bulb. Also by the time he was thirty, he was one of the most famous men in the world.

Over Thomas’s 84 years he acquired a record of 1093 patents. In 8178, Thomas Edison focused on creating a inexpensive electric light bulb to replace the gaslight. This was a challenge that scientists at the time had tried to deal with for the past fifty years. With the help of prominent financial backers, Thomas Edison set up the Edison electric light company.

In October 1789, Thomas Edison had a breakthrough. He had created a lightbulb with a platinum filament and in the summer of 1880 he found that carbonized bamboo could be a suitable replacement. This was the key for him to make long lasting, affordable lightbulbs. Then in 1881, he set up an electric light company in Newark, and the year after that he moved his family to New York.

Well that was my weekly post about Thomas Edison, I hope you enjoyed it.

SBC8, Count Out 3

http://kyle6pm.edublogs.org/      Kyle6pm

https://owenonlinep.edublogs.org/     Owen online

http://stevenonlineo.edublogs.org/      Steven Online

These are all blogs that I commented on for the count out three activity. Kyle’s blog is mostly based on the Student Blogging challenge but when he is writing a weekly post I think that he writes stories. The post that I commented on on his blog was about a lake in Oregon. Owens blog is also based on the student blogging challenge but when he is not doing that, he has a post about Harry Potter that I commented on. Now Steven Online. His blog posts are also based on the student blogging challenge but he also has nice posts. One of his posts is about a school team that he made. I also commented on that.

SBC7: Activity 3

I think that it is not better to have a negative digital footprint because people could make fun of you for what websites you have been on and because everyone will know you for going on a specific place on the internet. Now this is why I think you should have a negative digital footprint. It would be good because at least people would know who you are. Also it would be good because then you would at least exist on the internet.

Endangered Animals, A Global Problem

Endangerment. If an animal goes extinct it will never be seen again. There are already hundreds of species that have gone extinct including dinosaurs. The picture above is a white tiger. They are going extinct. Right now there are many species that are becoming extinct. Some people are breeding some species to increase their numbers but there are some species that we probably will not be able to save.

Snow Leopard in the Altai Mountain region

This is a snow leopard. These animals are going extinct. There are only about 4500 to 7500 alive right now. But, the good thing is, its fluffy. I know what you are thinking right now. I want to hug it. Yea. Me too. The snow leopard is known for their beautiful thick fur. It has a white, yellowish or soft gray coat with rings with black or brown. The snow leopards spots help it camouflage. This animal is going extinct. Another animal that is going extinct is the Amur leopard. These leopards have decreased in numbers because of poaching and habitat loss. There are roughly only about less than 60 Amur leopards alive today. It is pretty sad how much wildlife we have destroyed just to make more space for us.

This is a global issue that could eventually be prevented from happening anymore. Some things that people could do about this is they could start breeding more animals to increase their population. Also another thing that they can do is that people could start planting trees and creating habitats. This would increase the population of a lot of animals because some of the animals that have already gone extinct have gone extinct because of habitat loss.

WP7, Digital Footprints

I just watched 2 videos. The 1st video I watched talked about info that is about people on the internet. The 2nd is about evidence about people being certain places on the internet.

2nd – talks about how people can see where you have been on the internet

-talks about how every time you login somewhere, someone can know you just did

1st   -talks about evidence about you on internet

-talks about how people can look you up on the internet

My Best Blog Topic Ever

Doge. It is an internet sensation. But the dog is not actually named Doge. The meme is based on a picture taken in 2010 and became popular in 2013. The name of the breed of dog is Shiba Inu. This is the origin of one of the dogs in the memes. The Shiba Inu that was in the original meme, was a puppy who was sent to an animal shelter when her puppy mill shut down. She was adopted in 2008 and named after a fruit. She was named after the a fruit because her owner thought her face looked round like the fruit. In august 2013 images were spammed throughout Reddit. Online searches began to increase in July 2013 also. On December 13, the meme was named ”the top meme of 2013”. Now about the actual meme. Mostly all of the memes have two-word phrases where the first word most likely always begins with either of these. So, such, many, much, and very. And most of the time these two-word phrases are colored. If any of you reading this don’t know what Faze is it is a clan of youtubers that play video games and make vlogs. This picture is the Faze symbol with a little something extra.

WP8,The Fennec Fox

Hello again anyone that has been reading my posts for the past months. I am sorry that I have not been able to do any weekly posts but I have had to participate in the student blogging challenge. But now I am back so now I will do another weekly post. You probably already read the title but today I am making a post on the fennec fox. The fennec fox is the smallest species of fox in the world but it’s ears are massive. Their ears are six inches long. Could you imagine if our ears were six inches long? Anyway, the fennec fox can be found in the sandy Sahara deserts and mostly anywhere else in North Africa. Also, like a lot of other foxes, the fennec fox is an omnivore. Plants are a big part of their diet but they also eat insects, small rodents, reptiles, and birds. Because of the lack of water in their environment, they have adapted to be able to go a relatively long time without water. The fennec fox is a pretty hard animal to catch, but the fennec fox has one main predator. The Eagle Owl. The fennec fox lives about 12 to 14 years in captivity but in the wild it lives only about 10 years. I know this post doesn’t have that much information but thank you for reading this. Bye.
